With our intimate group of foodies, our day starts as we gather by the roaring fire in our Truffledore farmhouse restaurant. We meet and greet and toast to a successful hunt with a glass of bubbles or cup of mulled wine. From there we gear up, don our scarves and boots (dress for the Tassie winter!), call in the truffle dog and it’s off to the truffière. Once there, you will learn the art of hunting, dog handling and harvesting and have the chance to dig up the elusive, the expensive and the extraordinarily delicious black winter truffle.

Baskets full, we trundle back to The Truffledore to enjoy the bounty of our harvest in the longest of long table lunches. You will be surrounded by the wafting aroma of truffle as you sit down for your four course degustation lunch with lashings of freshly harvested truffle.
